Platinum Vocal Workshop Comes To San Francisco Bay Area!
I am very excited to announce Alexys Paris Voice Studio is hosting The Platinum Vocal Workshop with Robert “RAab” Stevenson Oct. 8th 2012, in the North Bay, at The African American Art & Culture Complex, San Francisco. Actually, the entire Bay Area is being introduced to The Platinum Vocal Workshop which will reiterate the concept of singing with both technique and style. Both are necessary as technique, i. e., “Speech Level Singing Technique” can be applied to any genre.
RAab Stevenson, a fellow Certified SLS Vocal Technician, is also extremely skilled in broad styles of music which makes The Platinum Vocal Workshop truly unique. Moreover, The Platinum Vocal Workshop is a unique workshop that teaches singers the art of stylizing their songs. Stevenson has a unique gift of hearing melodies, ascertaining broad styles of music and crafting vocal ideas that the singer can incorporate in their music. He also teaches singers methodologies so they begin to create their own expression and interpretation. It was in the summer 2008, at Speech Level Singing Vocal Camp where I met “RAab” (pronounced Rob) Stevenson. Everyone noticed him. He was out spoken, confident, very talented and enthusiastic about SLS. But what I have come to learn about him is, as talented as he is, he is also humble and he is very concerned with helping singers achieve their very best performances.
